Suzhou


　　Suzhou is located at the heart of Yangtze River Delta, the intersection between China’s coastal economic open-up belt and Yangtze River Development Zone. It is the closest large city near Shanghai. It has five county-leve subordinate cities, namely Changshu, Kunshan, Zhang Jia Gang, Wujiang and Taicang, with a total territory of 8,488 km2, of which, the Suzhou city proper is over 600 km2 in size. Suzhou is a famous town of over 2500 years of history. It is a renowned cultural town and tourist city in the world, and a key city for urban planning and construction ratified by the State Council. Suzhou has a warm climate, convenient transportation, rich produces, advanced economy, and has traditionally been credited as the ‘Town of Fish and Rice’, and the ‘Earthly Paradise’

Suzhou National New & High-Tech Industry Development Zone


　　It is located on the west side of Suzhou old city proper. It was founded in 1990. In 1992, it was ratified by the State Council as a national-level new & high-tech industry development zone, and in 1997, it was again approved as one of the first Asia Pacific technology industrial parks open to APEC members. In 1998, it became the first ISO14000 national model zone.

SND Xuguan Industrial Park

　　It was ratified for establishment by the Administration Committee of Suzhou National New & High-Tech Industry Development Zone (SND). It is located in the north part of SND with a total planned area of 15 km2, and a phase one planned area of 10 km2. The main industries cover electronics, bio-pharmaceutical, precision instruments, mechanical manufacturing and fine chemicals, etc.

SND International Molds Town

　　SND International Molds Town is founded by Xinhu Investment Co. by utilizing the trade advantages of Suzhou Molds Association, together with Haihua Group. It completed business registration in June, 2005, with a total registered capital of RMB 70 billion. SND International Molds Town is located in Xuguan Industrial Park. Its phase one project covers an area of 408 mu, and another 800 mu for phase two development, and 1600 mu for phase three project. It will have eight major centers to exercise ten strengths, and provide five great services, so as to make sure that every joining enterprise is entitled to preferential policies offered by SND.SND International Molds Town is working its best to improve the mold-making industrial level in Suzhou area at a high standard and starting point, so as to create a higher and better supporting platform for the introduction of foreign enterprises. It plans to build a first-rate molds town in China within the next 1 to 3 years.
